Cathy Champion-Predmore is a teacher and practicing musician. She earned a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Montana in Missoula in 1985 and has taught in the public schools in addition to maintaining a piano studio. She earned both State and National professional certificates in piano from the Music Teachers National Association in 1998. Her love of piano music motivates her to take lessons from master teachers and perform an annual solo recital. Using donations from these recitals, Cathy created the Jean Crockett Memorial Scholarship to help dedicated young Helena pianists attend summer music camps.

Cathy enjoys teaching and playing all styles of music. She has been described as energetic, happy, and encouraging. The studio, four miles south of Helena on Grizzly Gulch, holds two rebuilt grand pianos: a 1926 Steinway and a 1902 Hallet & Davis. Interested persons may contact her by phone or e-mail to schedule an interview.
