Karen McLean

Musikgarten, Piano, Voice, Guitar, Keyboard, Fretted Strings

Karen McLean has maintained a private music studio in various parts of Montana and Wyoming for over 25 years. Her students have achieved recognition in local, state and regional events, including first place in the MTNA competition. She also draws from her experience teaching music in the public schools in Highwood, Montana and Lander, Wyoming.

Karen has a Bachelor’s degree in piano performance from the University of Wyoming, and a second degree in elementary education from the same institution several years later.

Currently Karen is a member of Helena Music Teachers Association, Montana Music Teachers Association and the American Federation of Music Teachers Clubs. As a member of the Early Childhood Music and Movement Association, Karen is certified to teach all levels of the Musikgarten curriculum.

Her husband, Ken, and grown sons Ian and Collin McLean keep her life busy and blessed.
