Jim Richerson is a member of the Helena Music Teachers Association and has performed as a classical guitarist for many years. He has studied with and participated in Master Class courses with such notable guitarists as John Sutherland, David Tannenbaum, Carlos Montoya and Christopher Parkening. His playing style blends the romantic guitar sounds of the Segovia era with masterful interpretations from the history of Spanish guitar. He performs regularly in the Helena area.

Jim is an expert in the teachings and techniques of the great masters of classical guitar. He strives to present interesting and stimulating step-by-step instructions that will teach the student quickly. Private or group lessons can be arranged for both basic guitar and classical guitar. Sessions are individually tailored for all levels and ages.
